Bruce Hall

Sadly Bruce’s philosophy of being here for a good time not a long time came to an end on Friday evening (10/3/17).  He is now at peace and no longer suffering. Being Bruce he put on a cheerful face right up till the end despite how unwell he was.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who visited and kept in touch with Bruce during his final months.  He was overwhelmed by the support he was given, not realising the impact he had on others’ lives.

Bruce’s funeral service will be conducted on Fri 17th March at Macquarie Park Crematorium North Ryde, in the Camelia Chapel.  This will be followed by refreshments in the Terrace Room.  For those who would like to celebrate with something more substantial than tea & coffee, Bruce’s wake will be held at Eastwood Rugby Club from 4pm.

At Bruce’s request, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group.
Katie & I would like to express our gratitude to the crew who have sent condolences & who were a large part of Bruce’s life for many years.  No doubt he has re-connected with some of the old crew who have joined the Big Bus.  I only hope he is behaving, although somehow that just wouldn’t be Bruce.
